St. Mungo's puts on a brilliant show!!

St. Mungo's Academy music and drama departments took to the stage to blow away the directors of AC Milan and Celtic FC earlier this month in an outstanding performance.

St. Mungo's was given this opportunity through their partnership with the Celtic fund. They put on a magnificent show with their school choir, orchestra, and samba band and even had some first class Scottish poetry recited too. All taking place in the beautiful Clyde port hotel.

The Directors where nothing less than impressed by these extraordinary talented youngsters and the tremendous work they put into making this happened.

Soloist of the day Francesco said he was; “over the moon to be performing in front of such prestigious men and was entirely grateful for the brilliant opportunity.” Francesco sang a famous AC Milan football anthem on the day and concluded the overall performances , single handily blowing the directors away with his amazing voice.

Third and Fourth year boys from the school also presented the AC Milan directors with some extraordinary art work. Which was truly beautiful and the directors greatly appreciated.

Over all it was a fantastic day that truly did show off all the brilliant talent of the pupils of St.Mungos as they gave fantastic performances in which they should all be very proud of.
