Shawlands Primary Buddies

In Shawlands Primary this year there are more than sixty Primary 1s! Primary 7 have the opportunity to be buddies. There is just fewer than fifty Primary 7s so some people were lucky enough to get two little Primary 1 buddies.

In Shawlands Primary we have a house system and whichever house that the Primary 7 is in, their buddy is in that house.

The houses are:

Burns

Glennie

Hoy

Mackintosh

Murray

Rowling

Tennant

Wallace

I am in Mackintosh house, my two buddies are too! My two buddies are Ella and Charlie. We enjoy playing and talking. By now, both of them are playing with their own friends, but I still play with them too!

They have made new friends, not only from their own class but the other two Primary 1 classes.

Both Ella and Charlie have the same Primary 1 teacher, Miss Hutton. I enjoy having two buddies. I hoped I would! I think I was very lucky.

I am glad I have Ella and Charlie because they are not only my buddies they are two of my best friends!
